In the Community

We believe in the importance of bridging our academic activities and the interests of our community. Our annual speaker series is our signal event, and we host and sponsor a wide variety of other programs including:

  • Lectures & Conferences
Forums that address stimulating, timely issues in Jewish studies that are open to students, faculty, and community members.
  • Community Outreach
A variety of options (from the annual Community Lecture Series and presentations to materials and small-group discussions) and topics (from Judaism to global affairs to the Holocaust) that bring students, faculty, and the larger community together.
  • Cultural Activities
A collaborative approach to celebrating the Jewish community, including book fairs, film festivals, and special events.
