Learning Abroad

Study, work, internships, or volunteer experiences abroad can greatly enrich a major or minor in Jewish studies. Many students report that it is the highlight of their college career. We urge you to take advantage of one or more of the hundreds of opportunities available, including visiting Israel.

Scholarship assistance may be available to students who wish to participate in the Learning Abroad program in Jerusalem. Please contact Natan Paradise, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and the Learning Abroad Center for more information.

Find general learning abroad information, including programs available, advising, financial aid and scholarships, policies and procedures, and application materials at the Learning Abroad Center. They also offer information about learning abroad as a Jewish studies major.

Early planning and systematic consultation with advisors in the Learning Abroad Center and the department is key to assuring you:

  • Find the right program for you
  • Meet application or scholarship deadlines
  • Are able to apply appropriate courses taken abroad to your major/minor and/or Liberal Education requirements
