Learning Abroad

Study, work, internships, or volunteer experiences abroad can greatly enrich a major or minor in Jewish Studies. Many students report that it is the highlight of their college career. We urge you to take advantage of one or more of the hundreds of opportunities available, including Israel.

Find general learning abroad information, including programs available, advising, financial aid and scholarships, policies and procedures, and application materials at the Learning Abroad Center.

For information about learning abroad specifically as a Jewish Studies major, visit this page, which outlines opportunities and programs.

Early planning and systematic consultation with advisers in the Learning Abroad Center and the department is key to assuring you:

  • Find the right program for you
  • Meet application or scholarship deadlines
  • Are able to apply appropriate courses taken abroad to your major/minor and/or Liberal Education requirements
